The CORBOOK 15 is a compact, low-power, high-performance, semi-ruggedized laptop computer system built around Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology. The Corbook 15 is designed specifically to withstand the bumps and bruises of day to day work outdoors in unpredictable conditions. From the spill resistant keyboard, switches, and touch pad, to the shock mounted, vibration-resistant hard drive, this computer is designed to outlast any standard consumer grade laptop system. The built-in optical drive offers a choice of drive selections all equipped with a disk lock mechanism that prevents the unintentional tray ejection from a drop or harsh vibration. Even the battery system has been improved with double protection circuitry to prevent damage caused by current or voltage surges and overheating. Lastly, the overall notebook has been built with a magnesium alloy case that is 20 times stronger than ABS plastic.
